Yurt Cafe | London

The Yurt Cafe is a Social Enterprise run by Royal Foundation of St. Katharine (Charity 223849). We wanted to create a space that was warm, fun and welcoming to people from all walks of life.

So come down for craft coffee, delicious homemade food, cakes, pastries, beer, wine and even cocktails – we also have a very special brunch menu on the weekends. The Cafe recently won the Time Out #LoveLondon Best Cafe Award 2016 for Poplar, Shadwell & Wapping.

We source our food locally where possible (we’re starting to grow vegetables in our gardens), pay our staff a living wage and aim to keep our menu affordable and any surpluses are reinvested into our work in the community.

We also host events in the space including music, poetry, and discussion – get in touch if you have a great idea for using the space; and we are available for private hire and special events.

We have just launched our new Yurt Lates dining offer Monday – Saturday every week. Our chefs have specially created a new menu offering a variety of food options served from 5 – 8pm. If you fancy a Yurt dining experience come down and check it out!
