The Victoria Inn was built in 1837, the year in which the young Queen Victoria succeeded to the throne and in which Thomas William Coke, the owner of Holkham, was at last elevated to the peerage as the Earl of Leicester, the title his great-uncle had held. The name of the proposed new inn must have been inevitable.
Located on the A149 coast road in Holkham village, within walking distance of Holkham Hall and renowned nature reserve and beach, The Victoria Inn provides fine traditional British food, drink and accommodation.
Dogs are welcome rooms to stay in the main hotel (Victoria rooms 1 -10) at an extra charge of £10 per stay. Dogs are also allowed throughout the downstairs of The Victoria.
