A trip through Asia without leaving Portugal or Spain? Yes, please! Boa Bao’s concept is built on tradition, the sharing of authentic experiences and a personal pinch of love. Imagined by an American / Dutch couple and seasoned by a Belgium chef, the project came to life in the Portuguese square named after the world renown artist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, flying next to Rua da Picaria, in downtown Porto, and more recently landing in Barcelona on Plaça del Dr. Letamendi.
Boa Bao’s journey starts by sifting through their passport stamped with signature cocktails to discover unique flavors (yes, the cocktail menu is a passport!) or by choosing from a selection of traditional Asian beers. Your adventure then continues with a Travel Food Journey that’s a real itinerary for the best street food from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Camboja, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Nepal and China. No fusions, no reinventions. Boa Bao’s kitchen assumes itself as pan-Asiatic, respecting all traditional and authentic recipes and original ingredients of the different countries that inspire their vast variety of food selection.
